Arnie Klaus first moved to Kohala on Hawaiʻi Island in 2009 while working with a sustainable seafood company. He now focuses on real estate and the sustainable development of affordable housing and land conservation.
His volunteer work in Kohala has included reading tutoring at Kohala Elementary School, organizing the Hawaiʻi Island TED 2021 conference, interpretive educational design for Anna Ranch Heritage Center and ʻIole, and organizational and web support for Feed Hawaiʻi and Kohala Village HUB.
